Master Plan
The duty of the Master Plan Committee shall be to advise and assist the Commodore, Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees, in all matters of immediate and long range planning pertaining to major maintenance of Club facilities.

Membership
The duty of the Membership Committee shall be to assist the Board of Directors in determining the qualification of applicants for membership.

Finance
The duty of the Finance Committee shall be to advise and assist the Commodore, the Treasurer, the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees in all matters of immediate and long range financial planning, and arrange for an annual audit of the Club records by a qualified C.P.A. immediately following the twelfth (12th) month for presentation to the new Treasurer.

Bylaws
The Chairman of the Bylaws Committee or his delegates shall attend all general Membership and special meetings of the Membership, keep a file on all voting pertaining to the ByLaws, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding revisions or amendments, whenever times and conditions render it in the best interest of the Club.

Historical
The Historical Committee shall be charged with maintaining, cataloging and otherwise overseeing the Club's historical memorabilia.

Competition
The duty of this Committee shall be to make recommendations designed to assist the Board of Directors in identifying, selecting and supporting those Club sponsored competitive activities which the Committee Members feel will develop the Club's total resource potential and enhance Southwestern Yacht Club's standing in the Corinthian yachting community.

Jr. Advisory
The Committee shall evaluate and recommend candidates for Junior membership to the Board of Directors.

House
The House Committee shall act as the clearinghouse for Membership suggestions and/or complaints relating to any aspect of the operation of the Club facilities. The Committee shall advise and make recommendations to the Commodore, Board of Directors, The Club General Manager, and other cognizant standing or ad-hoc committees in matters pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the Club facilities.
